This aligns with the objectives of Oman Vision 2040, which aims to diversify national income sources and increase the contribution of non-oil sectors to the economy.

According to the statistics, the chemical industries sector recorded the highest growth rate among export sectors at 17 percent, with its exports reaching OMR 216 million.

The base metals sector came in second with a growth rate of 10.8 percent, recording exports worth 376 million Omani rials. Exports of live animals and animal products also increased by 6 percent, reaching 104 million Omani rials.

Regarding foreign markets, the United Arab Emirates topped the list of countries receiving Omani non-oil exports, with a value of 382 million Omani rials, accounting for 23.7 percent of total exports. This was followed by Saudi Arabia at 201 million Omani rials, India at 156 million Omani rials, South Korea at 154 million Omani rials, and the United States at 133 million Omani rials.

The Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, represented by Oman Exports, continues to implement programs and initiatives aimed at enhancing the competitiveness of Omani products and strengthening the readiness of national companies to expand into foreign markets. This is achieved through developing the business environment, improving services provided to exporters, facilitating trade procedures, and opening new channels for accessing global markets.

His Excellency Engineer Ghalib bin Said Al Maamari, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion for Trade and Industry, affirmed that the achieved results reflect the success of national efforts aimed at diversifying the national economy and boosting non-oil exports. He noted that the Ministry continues to develop initiatives that support exporters and provide various forms of technical and logistical support that contribute to enhancing the reach of Omani products in target markets.

His Excellency added that the Ministry is focused on building an integrated export system that supports the growth of Omani companies and enables them to capitalize on promising trade opportunities, thereby strengthening the Sultanate of Oman's position on the international trade map.

The Ministry's efforts include preparing specialized market studies and reports, organizing training programs and workshops for exporters, participating in international exhibitions and conferences, and holding bilateral meetings with trade partners and importers worldwide.

For her part, Lubna bint Mohammed Al Harthi, Director of the Export Development Department at the Ministry, explained that Oman Exports continues to develop its services and programs aimed at empowering Omani exporters and familiarizing them with available opportunities in foreign markets. This contributes to increasing the volume of non-oil exports and enhancing the distribution of national products in various global markets.

These indicators confirm the continued growth of Omani products in international markets, supported by their quality, competitiveness, and ongoing government efforts to boost national exports, expand trade partnerships, and open new markets, thus supporting the goals of economic diversification and sustainability.
